Taco Nation: Recipes for the People is the latest cooking instructional written by James Beard nominated author Melissa Guerra. Written as an app consisting of 101 recipes, Taco Nation provides recipes in both English and Spanish, and is targets novice cooks, college students and taco aficionados as their audience.
Since tacos are truly the food of the people, the artwork has taken inspiration from the political posters of the Mid-20th century. The creators of Taco Nation are firm in their belief that more tacos can heal the world, and encourage you to join their movement. Taco lovers of the world, unite!
Each recipe provides a grocery list, nutritional information, photos and cooking instructions. Users can switch from English with standard U.S. measurements, or Spanish, which features identical recipes with metric measurements. With growing popularity of Taco Nation, more languages will be added in the future.
A companion book will debut in 2015.
